Our Goals

  • Collaborating with historical organizations and governments in St. Augustine and Northeast Florida.

  • Create opportunities for St. Augustine residents and visitors to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary decade.

  • Collaborating organizations will be recognized as authorities on Revolutionary War history in St. Johns and Putnam Counties.

  • Collaborating organizations lead the St. Augustine area in patriotic events, instilling patriotism among all residents of St. Johns and Putnam Counties.

  • Education – Organizations work together to create educational opportunities regarding American history, the Revolutionary War, and other historical events in our area and around the world.

  • Engagement – Organizations work together to engage the community and our members in events, meetings, and other forums focused on history, patriotism, and education about America.

  • Fellowship – Organizations work together to create opportunities for fellowship among our members and interested members of the public.

  • Interpretation – Organizations collaborate to interpret Revolutionary War events (e.g., colonial dress, color guard/flags) for members, the interested community, and the public.

  • Preservation – Organizations will continue efforts to restore and preserve the historic sites of St. Augustine which will allow present & future generations to experience the lives and stories of our Nation’s founders.
